Attachment Style Quiz for Indian Women — Which Type Are You?

Attachment Style Quiz for Indian Women — Which Type Are You?

You love deeply. You give everything. And somehow relationships still feel harder than they should.

Or maybe you’re the opposite — someone gets close and something in you shuts down. You don’t know why. You just know you need space, and needing space makes you feel guilty, and the guilt makes you pull away more.

Neither of these is a character flaw. It’s your attachment style. And once you understand it, everything starts to make a little more sense.

What Is an Attachment Style?

Attachment theory was developed by psychologist John Bowlby and later expanded by Mary Ainsworth. The basic idea: the way you were cared for as a child shapes how you relate to people you love as an adult — especially in romantic relationships.

There are four main attachment styles: Secure, Anxious, Avoidant, and Disorganized.

Most Western explanations use examples that don’t quite fit our lives. So this quiz is built around Indian relationship realities — arranged marriages, joint family dynamics, parental expectations, and the particular emotional landscape of being a woman in India.

Take the Quiz

Answer honestly. Go with your first instinct. Add up which letter you choose most often at the end.

Which type are you? Share your result in the comments — and if you’re brave, share it with your partner and see if they agree with what you got.
